Principal designers Nolen Strals and Bruce Willen will be visiting SDCT’s Department of Design April 8-9 to join in critiques and offer a public lecture about their practice.

SDCT's Executive Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Jan Ryan will discuss women in entrepreneurship with Hugh Forrest of SXSW at November's TechTalk, sponsored by the Greater Austin Chamber. Ryan founded Women@Austin, an organization creating trusted connections that advance and empower successful women entrepreneurs in Austin. The conversation will focus on female founders in Central Texas, as well as explore the recent announcement that Women@Austin has become part of Notley Ventures' social impact ecosystem. Breakfast will be provided.
